Having followed a broad curriculum in Years 7 to 9, which provides a solid foundation for future studies, students can begin to specialise in Year 10. 

Everyone will continue to follow the core subjects of English Language and Literature,  Maths and Numeracy,  Double or Triple Science, Welsh, PE and the Skills Challenge Certificate (Welsh Baccalaureate). 

Students can then choose three additional subjects from a wide range of options that best suits their interests, skills and future aspirations.  Some subjects are more applied or practical and may be assessed in different ways to more traditional exams.
