Having followed a broad curriculum in Years 7 to 9, which provides a solid foundation for future studies, students can begin to specialise in Year 10. 

All GCSE students will follow the core subjects of English Language and Literature, Maths and Numeracy, Double Science and Welsh.  Statutory PE lessons are part of the curriculum for all students.

Students can then choose four additional subjects from a wide range of options that best suits their interests, skills and future aspirations.  Some subjects are more applied or practical and may be assessed in different ways to more traditional exams.
