Meet the Form Tutor 2026

Mr B Miller
Welcome/Croeso
My name is Mr Miller and I will be your Form Tutor when you join Monmouth Comprehensive School in September. I am really looking forward to meeting you all and helping you settle into life here at MCS!
I am a Design and Technology teacher, mostly working in the workshop — teaching Product Design, Engineering and the Built Environment. I love practical, hands-on learning, so we should get on well. I have been at Monmouth Comprehensive School for four years and it is a brilliant place to learn and grow.
When I am not in the workshop, you will probably find me watching Aston Villa, hunting for vintage G1 Transformers, playing on my Game Boy, or rewatching Star Wars for the hundredth time. Feel free to ask me about any of them — I could talk about them all day!
See you in September!
Mr Miller

I am an English teacher and I love my job. This will be my 10th year at MCS. My main goal as your Form Tutor is to make your days in school the absolute best they can be, working collaboratively as a team, being kind to each other and getting involved in all aspects of school life.
You will soon learn that I am a very keen Liverpool Football Club supporter. There will be a Liverpool calendar in our Tutor room to remind me when it’s your birthday!
I am so excited for our new adventure to start in September. I cannot wait to meet you all and get to know you and your families.
See you soon.

Ms H Baker
Hello 7HBA!
I’m Ms Baker and I will be your Form Tutor from September.
I am currently teaching at another school in England but will be moving to Monmouth Comprehensive School in September. This means that we will all be getting used to our new school together.
I am a science teacher and have been teaching for a number of years.
I am very excited about meeting you all. We shall build a Form group that values everyone and celebrates all of our individual successes – whatever they look like. You will hear, ‘Work Hard, Be Kind’ many times at MCS, and we will ensure that we embody this every day.
Best wishes

Mr L Cardinale
Welcome/Croeso
My name is Mr Cardinale, and I will be your Form Tutor when you join Year 7 in September. I am really looking forward to meeting you all and supporting you as you begin your journey at MCS.
This will also be my first teaching role, so in many ways we will be starting this new chapter together.
I understand that joining a new school can feel exciting, but it can also feel a little daunting at times. My role as your Form Tutor will be to help you settle in, look after your wellbeing, encourage you to get involved in school life, and support you to do your very best.
I believe that, as a Form class, we are a team. That means we should support each other, be kind to each other, celebrate each other’s successes, and help each other through any challenges. If we work together, show respect, and always try our best, I know we can make our Form a positive and welcoming place for everyone.
Outside of school, I enjoy travelling, playing and watching sports, and reading. I am looking forward to finding out about your interests and getting to know each of you over the year.
I am very excited for September and for the opportunity to begin this new adventure with you. I hope you have a fantastic summer, and I look forward to meeting you all soon.
Best wishes
Mr Cardinale

Mrs L Evans
Hi everyone
I’m Mrs Evans, and I’m delighted to be your Form Tutor at Monmouth Comprehensive School. I teach Science here at MCS, and although I’m on maternity leave at the moment, I’m looking forward to joining you in September and getting to know each of you.
I’ll be here to support you throughout your journey at MCS, all the way until you’re proud Year 11s. I want you to make the most of every opportunity — inside the classroom and beyond it. There’s so much to explore, and I’m excited to hear about what inspires you. You’ll hear our motto, “Work hard and be kind,” a lot, because it’s woven into everything we do. If you embrace it, there’s no limit to what you can achieve.
Away from school life, I’m normally either watching my older children play sports, out adventuring with our two dogs, busy renovating our cottage and garden, or simply making memories with family and friends.
Enjoy your last few weeks of primary school — you’ve earned every moment. I can’t wait to meet you and your families and to get to know each of you as we begin this next adventure together.
See you soon.

I am so excited to have you join us and start this new adventure. Secondary school is full of opportunities, new friendships and lots of exciting experiences.
It’s completely normal to feel a little nervous, but remember- everyone is in the same boat, and I’m here to help you every step of the way.
Work hard, be kind and always be yourself!
Pob lwc and I can’t wait to get to know you all.

Miss P Bennett
Hi everyone!
I’m so excited to be your Form Tutor this year at Monmouth Comprehensive School. I teach Business Studies, so if you choose Business for GCSE or A Level in the future, there’s a good chance I’ll see you again in my classroom talking about brands, marketing and how businesses work!
Outside of teaching, I play netball, so I’m a big fan of teamwork, encouragement and getting involved. You’ll probably discover pretty quickly that I enjoy fun facts and little quizzes, so expect some puzzles to get our brains ready and working for the day ahead!
I’m really excited to get to know all of you and to follow your journey through Monmouth Comprehensive over the next few years. Starting Year 7 is a huge step and it’s completely normal to feel excited, nervous, or a mixture of both. My aim is to make our Form a place where everyone feels safe, welcome and supported. I want you to know there will always be someone to listen, help and encourage you when you need it.
Most importantly, I hope our Form becomes a team that celebrates successes together, supports each other through challenges and has lots of laughs along the way. I can’t wait to meet you all and start this journey together in September!
See you soon.
Miss Bennett
