My name is Miss Powles, and I will be your new Form Tutor when you join Monmouth Comprehensive School in September. I am excited to meet you all!

It will be my first year at MCS too, so we will be learning about the school together. I am an English teacher. However, my role as your Form Tutor will ensure that you enjoy every day at school – starting at secondary school can be really challenging, but I will be there to support you all.

In my spare time, I enjoy travelling and experiencing new things. I am a foodie, so I will love talking to you about different types of food! I love dogs, and I have a golden retriever called Harry. Hopefully, we will be able to discuss our pets together!

My name is Ms Goodfellow and I will be your Form Tutor at Monmouth Comprehensive School in September.

I share my surname with Shakespeare's most famous fairy, Puck, who is also known as Robin Goodfellow. I like to think it makes me a bit magic. If you hadn't guessed already, I'm an English teacher and, despite having had my own Form all the way to Year 11 before, you will be my very first form at Monmouth Comprehensive School.

I cannot wait to meet you all and get to know you, and I hope you will get to know me, too. I'm sure we will achieve great things together in the next five years.

I believe it’s important to build strong, trusting relationships, and I’m here to help you in any way I can—whether it’s with your school work, how you’re feeling, or just making sure you’re settling in. Some of you might be very excited about starting a new school and I know it can be very scary for others. I will help you settle in and support you throughout our years together. I am a teacher of additional learning needs and I love to find new and exciting ways to make learning fun and accessible for all.

 When I’m not in the classroom, I love to spend time with family and friends. I am a huge fan of everything Disney and Marvel, and I cannot wait to find out your interests, hobbies and all the things that make you happy.

I’m Mrs Riordan and I’m really looking forward to meeting you as you start a new exciting chapter at MCS. I’ve been a Music teacher here for the past five years since relocating from Cardiff. I can tell you that time absolutely flies in High School (it only feels like yesterday I was introducing myself to my previous Year 7 Form who have now completed their GCSEs!)

I know that you will be feeling a mixture of emotions about coming to High School that range from excitement to nervous anticipation. My name is Miss Painter.  I will be your Form Tutor when you join MCS in September, and I am very excited to meet you all as you prepare to join our fantastic school. As well as being exciting, starting a new school can be a little nerve-wracking. So, my role will be to help you settle in and guide your progress throughout secondary school.

I am an English teacher and love that I get to come to work to do something I love every single day! When I’m not in the classroom, I’ve usually still got my nose in a book, especially in the garden if the weather is nice. Regardless of whether I’m in school or at home, I see every day as a learning day and an opportunity to discover something new. I work with lots of other amazing and inspiring teachers, who make the school a fun a lively place, full of knowledge and passion.
