I Have a Dream’ poetry competition advertised by the English Faculty.
Phoebe has received special commendation for her poem which will be published in a book of winning entries. It is spectacular.
A Dream For All
In quiet hours, my heart takes flight, Chasing dreams,
beyond the night.
Ambition burning, strong and true. A path
unbound, for me, for you.
No walls to cage the soaring mind. No chains of race or
creed to bin. Equality, a radiant flame. That lights the dark,
destroys the shame.
For dreams belong to every soul. Each voice, a thread, a vital goal.
Together, weaving futures bright, Where justice dawns with morning light.
So rise with hope, embrace with fire.
Let passion lift you even higher.
In unity, our spirits gleam – One world, one dream, one endless stream.

Monday brought a wave of excitement as the latest delivery of Race Suits arrived. Before preparations began for the upcoming Reindeer Dash, the club hosted a special Race Suit ceremony for those receiving their first racing all-in-one. The event was made even more memorable by the presence of club volunteer Richard Graefe, who proudly presented the new suits to the rowers. For many, it was a proud moment— happy to be showing themselves as representatives of the school on the water.
